Squeaky Wheel Practice

I was up pretty late last night because my roommate at UCSD was talking outside my door until 2:00am! Then he slept in until 12 noon the next day the LAZY SLUG! So I'm pretty beat. And I just did a math midterm the night before - but maybe that's what the blues is all about anyway.

Here's me improvising on an old classic...
Imagine this on an acoustic/electric Takamine, through a big amp,
with me dressed in my best Western duds and pick holsters...

See you at the Squeaky Wheel Tour, 2011!

Takamine on Squeaky Wheel Tour

I can play any Takamine guitar I want to on the Squeaky Wheel Tour.
They'll just give me one, for free.

So I think I'll play THIS ONE! . . .

It's a solid spruce/mahogany with a deep indigo burst finish and has inlaid Japanese Koi swimming around the edges, with gold gift braid circling the sound hole and more Koi swimming up the fingerboard! All gold and pearl hardware, Palathetic Pickup with a Cool Tube on-board Preamp.

I mean, if it's FREE, I'll TAKE ONE!
Here's to Takamine, Gold Hardware, and Koi Fish!

Squeaky Wheel Tour Hits San Diego

On October 22nd I'll be performing with some friends at the San Diego stage of the Squeaky Wheel Tour. This is a giant international effort to identify and find missing people around the globe. At each tour stop, flyers are distributed that have photos and information about people who have been missing from their families and friends. So far, thousands of people have been found this way!...

Jos Sings The Blues

Jocelyn "Jos" Fairman is a great teenage singer from Hamilton, Canada.
We don't know anything else about her except she likes the same songs we do and she can SING REALLY WELL!!!!

"Natural Woman" at the Ancaster Fair's Got Talent event:

This is a great Adele song, we have to get Sophia to give it a try:

And how cool are these guitarists? They seem to be the only ones in their High School Guitar Club, DEJA VU!!!!

Good luck to Jos, and keep singing up there!
Anytime you are in San Diego you can play with us!!!
